My name is Alan Ocken.
My father was a Great Depression and World War II era rancher and caretaker of a large parcel of land in the foothills of Colorado.
He taught me the value of a well-crafted tool and the importance of selecting the right tool for the job.
I spent my childhood summers cutting firwood for the primary heating of my family’s home.
Winters were spent sharpening and repairing tools and making knives.
I crafted my first knife in 1979 when I was 14 and sold my first in 1982.
I now have children and grandchildren several of whom have served or are still serving America. It's for Women and Men such as them that I make my Promise.
I still make Every Ravens’ Council knife by hand One-at-a-time. So that your knife is crafted for your needs. A One-of-a-kind heirloom.
